In April 2021, J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc. (Creamer) began major upgrades to the Baltusrol Well Station in Summit, New Jersey.
The Baltusrol Well Station is a historic building, and as such, Creamer was charged with modernizing its function while preserving its integrity. To bring the building up to modern standards, the existing concrete floor was removed and replaced with a reinforced concrete floor. Lead abatement was also performed, and all the interior walls of the well station were repainted. Additionally, new electrical and heating systems were installed. Once these improvements were made, Creamer was able to install a new PFAS system, which included:
-
- The installation of two (2), 8-foot x 25-foot horizontal tanks
-
- All mechanical and commissioning of the system
-
- The installation of a new DIP main from the well head to the station
-
- System maintenance throughout the process
