    J. Fletcher Creamer and Son, Inc. was awarded the BLC Manhole & Conduit System Furnish & Install contract for five (22 circuit miles) new underground 345- kV XLPE circuits. The new 345kV circuits traversed through dense urban areas in the cities of Bayonne and Elizabeth. The installation required the relocation of existing water and gas facilities and the lining of the City of Elizabeth’s 100 year-old brick and clay sewer system when crossing or paralleling in close proximity.

    Other highlights included:

    • 56 – 28’x6’x8’ manholes
    • 5.7 miles of double circuit 8” PVC duct bank
    • 8.1 miles of single circuit 8” PVC duct bank
    • Six bridge crossings including three over rail lines
    • Two rail crossings at grade
