The project involves cleaning & lining 32,000 linear feet of 6”; 2500 linear feet of 8”; 3700 linear feet of 16” water mains. Replace 45 fire hydrants; 103 service lines and 6”, 8” & 16” valves within the cleaning & lining. Also the installation of 3600 linear feet of 8” water main. Before the cleaning and lining of the water main takes place, a temporary by-pass water system has to be installed. The project calls for the installation of 87,000 linear feet of temporary by-pass while providing water to 1140 of Middlesex Water customers.
